Hydroponic Pot

Many plants can be kept relatively easily in hydroponics, i.e., entirely without soil. For this purpose, the special hydroponic pots have an integrated water reservoir below the plant. The plant usually sits in a mineral mix. I like to use Vulkaflor for this, but other mineral mixes such as Pon or expanded clay are also conceivable.

The plant pot and the reservoir are connected either by a cotton wick (small pot version) or a column filled with the mineral mix (largest pot version). In the lower part of the pot, there is a transparent "window" through which the current water level can be checked. For filling, the pots have a small filling opening on the surface.
