Hesi pH - Adjusting the pH value during the growth and flowering phase

The Hesi pH- fertilizer is used to regulate and lower the pH value in nutrient solutions for plant cultivation in soil, coco substrate, and in hydroponic systems. An optimal pH value enables the roots to absorb nutrients efficiently. Ideally, the pH value is around 6, with a range of 5.8 to 6.2 considered optimal. A pH value that is too low can cause root damage, while a pH value that is too high can impair nutrient absorption.

Special suitability and application possibilities

Hesi pH - can be used in all growing media and is particularly suitable for coco substrates and hydroponic systems, as precise pH control is required here.

Hesi offers two products for adjusting the pH value:

• Hesi pH-  – Lowers the pH value.
• Hesi pH+ – Increases the pH value.

Application

Hesi pH- is used during the growth and flowering phase as needed to correct the pH value in the nutrient solution. The ideal pH range is 5.8 to 6.2. First, the nutrient solution is mixed and the pH value is measured. If it is too high, Hesi pH- is added drop by drop, the solution is stirred well, and then the pH value is measured again. This process is repeated until the desired pH value is reached.

Caution: The product is corrosive!

Dosage

• Apply only drop by drop
• The pH value should be measured after each addition

Recommended additional products

• For precise dosing, the use of a pipette is recommended.
