Why PLA? Our planters are made from PLA, an environmentally friendly and biodegradable material derived from renewable resources such as corn starch. This way, you not only contribute to a greener living environment but also to environmental protection. PLA is durable and stable under indoor conditions. When PLA enters the environment, it decomposes much faster compared to conventional plastics like PP, PC, PETG, or ABS.

Important to know:
-PLA (like many other plastics) is not UV-stable and can deform when exposed to high heat (midday sun outdoors in summer). Furthermore, while the pots can hold water for a few weeks after watering, they are not permanently waterproof. This is irrelevant for plants in normal substrate, as they generally do not tolerate waterlogging anyway. However, these planters should not be used for plants in hydroponics.
